SILA-IWC will be organizing a “Spring Soirée” which is co-hosted by The Embassy of Turkey in Slovenia. The dinner will be held on 30th March at 07:00 pm at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana.

I wrote about SILA IWC last year in December when they where organizing their 25th Annual Bazaar.  On 25th Annual Bazaar they raised over 40,000€. Funds where given to the chosen charities and organizations that help the elderly and mentally challenged people from the rural areas of Slovenia. More about the event can be found here (Direct link to SILA-IWC website)

SILA IWC (Slovenian International Ladies Association) is an Slovenian charity organization. It was established back in the 1993. SILA connects international and local people who are either from Slovenia or work and live in Slovenia for short or long term. First members of SILA where spouses of diplomats and representatives of companies in Slovenia. And with the help of few local members started the SILA IWC. Today SILA have over 150 members

In March they are organizing another great event. This time SILA-IWC will be organizing a “Spring Soirée” which is co-hosted by Turkish Embassy in Ljubljana. The event is undern honorary patronage of the President of  the Republic Slovenia, His Excellency Mr. Borut Pahor.

Funds raised on the “Spring Soirée” will be given to Europa Donna an organization that works to raise awareness of breast cancer, to give support to breast cancer patients and their relatives and many other projects.  You can find more about Europa Donna here (link to their website).

Turkish Delights Experience Dinner will be held on Saturday March 30th at 07:00 pm (19:00) at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana.

Ticket price is 55,00€ and you can reserve your tickets by e-mail on infoiwcl@sila.si

I hope that many Red Tie Blog readers from Slovenia will come and join the dinner to support SILA-IWC and Europa Donna organization. This dinner will bring together SILA members, locals, foreigners, diplomats and business people to raise the awareness and to celebrate “women of the world”.
